Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set, luxury sateen, 600 TC (thread count) for superior softness. We've tried both solid and striped sheets. With the lights out we found that there was no difference in softness and sleep inducing comfort. We are led to believe that there are those who want the dramatic effect of stripes on their sateen sheets. For me. that's too much excitement, but to each his or her own. The sheets work. Sleep tight!
